StarSuite 9.2

StarSuite is an office productivity suite developed by Oracle (originally created by Sun Microsystems) and closely related to StarOffice and the OpenOffice.org codebase. Designed primarily for Asian markets, it offers a localized user experience and enhanced support for Japanese, Chinese, and Korean languages, including regional dictionaries and templates. StarSuite provides a familiar set of desktop applications for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, drawing, and simple database work.

Following Oracle’s acquisition of Sun Microsystems, StarSuite was eventually discontinued. Organizations and individuals commonly transitioned to Oracle Open Office at the time or to community-driven successors such as Apache OpenOffice and LibreOffice.

StarSuite is developed by Oracle. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, 9.1 and 9.2. The names of program executable files are quickstart.exe, sbase.exe, scalc.exe, sdraw.exe and simpress.exe. Works with odb file type.
